The Netherlands Programme Sustainable Biomass (NPSB) was developed to gain experience in the production and certification of sustainable, based on practical experiences. The NPSB programme has run from 2008 to the end of 2013.
Bamboos are a large group of rapidly growing woody grasses, that can be sustainably managed in short-cycled harvesting schemes in many parts of the world.
In this thesis, the technical feasibility of using jatropha oil and biogas for dual fuel generators is investigated. This technology could be used for electricity generation in rural areas in developing countries.
